Sources checked 2026-10-22 · Our editorial approach

Page states 400lb(180kg); strict load matching uses 396.8lb. Current Pro+ is 5.0HP peak on its table; owner directory supplies preceding 4.5HP Pro guide, not a verified Pro+ care manual.

A useful fit for

Useful when the larger surface and documented nine-hour daily-use recommendation justify one planned permanent position.

The main tradeoff

Its manual-directory Pro guide describes the predecessor, while current Pro+ motor and deck copy conflict; exact Pro+ care instructions need confirmation.

Your needs, this model

Does it fit your priorities?

Can a 396lb requirement have nine documented daily hours?

The current Pro+ page recommends nine hours per day;396.8lb is the lower equivalent of its stated 180kg allowance.

Can the walking area meet 20 by 48 inches within a 28-inch base width?

The exact Pro+ table states 20x 48.43 inches and 27.95-inch overall base width.

Can a supplied console provide 4mph desk walking?

The wired Omni console and 0.4–4mph current range are documented together.

LifeSpan TR5000B Pro+ GlowUp: a larger office-walking base with a nine-hour daily-use recommendation. The Pro+ is worth considering when sustained workday use, a broad walking area and a permanently arranged desk matter more than minimum storage size. Its current identity must be kept separate from the preceding TR5000B Pro and older TR5000 desk packages.

Choose it for a documented work pattern

The current Pro+ page recommends nine hours per day. That makes it a relevant comparison for a shared workspace or someone planning several workday walking periods. It does not establish that the machine should run continuously for nine hours without breaks or care, nor does it prescribe that much walking for a person. Plan the routine around both the operating instructions and the tasks being done.

The listed walking range is 0.4–4.0 mph. The upper limit can be set to 2 mph if desired. A workplace that wants a predictable slower setting may value that configuration more than having a higher maximum available. Confirm the actual console setting before assuming the full advertised range will be immediately accessible.

The footprint needs a settled space

The body measures 60.63 by 27.95 inches, with a listed overall height of 7.25 inches. The belt step-up is separately stated as 4.6 inches. Use the whole body for physical fit and the standing height for desk ergonomics. A cable tray, crossbar or limited desktop adjustment can interfere even where the distance between the desk legs appears sufficient.

The published walking surface is 20 by 48.43 inches. Consider that usable area independently from the overall width. It is substantially larger than the surface of many compact pads, but personal stride fit still needs attention. Moving the desk around a pad with too little room to enter and leave is not a satisfactory way to make the installation work.

Handle the capacity boundary carefully

The page gives a maximum of 400 lb and, beside it, 180 kg. Those figures are not exact equivalents: 180 kg is about 396.8 lb. Our strict load comparison uses 396.8 lb rather than treating the full 400 lb as an unambiguous allowance. Someone whose requirement sits between those figures should get exact-unit confirmation from LifeSpan before ordering.

The treadmill body is listed at 84.13 lb, with a separate 3 lb console. Front transport wheels help on an appropriate continuous floor. They do not remove the need to lift the body over stairs or major obstacles. A clear same-floor route and a planned permanent position are more persuasive uses of this model than frequent carrying.

Keep Pro+ and Pro documentation separate

The current Pro+ table describes a 5.0 HP peak brushless motor and a 0.7-inch phenolic deck. Other text on the same page uses both one-inch and 0.71-inch deck descriptions. The owner-manual directory currently supplies a TR5000B Pro guide describing the preceding 4.5 HP model. That does not establish every maintenance or construction detail of the newer Pro+.

Do not borrow a predecessor's motor specification merely because body weight and dimensions resemble one another. Obtain the exact Pro+ instructions for lubrication, inspection and operating requirements. If a particular deck construction or motor rating decides the purchase, get that component confirmed for the actual unit before ordering.

A wired console comes with the reviewed offering

LifeSpan states that the Omni-Hub console is automatically added to the cart and arrives separately. It requires a wired connection. Check that the quoted package includes that console, then give it a stable, reachable place on your desk. App synchronization listed in the specification is a data feature; it is not by itself proof of phone-controlled walking speed.

The deck has no incline function. That can suit a steady work routine, while making the Pro+ a poor answer to a requirement for hill walking or power-adjustable elevation. The desk is also separate equipment in this base-only assessment. Complete treadmill-desk packages have their own dimensions, supplied controls and assembly requirements.

Check SC130 and SC150 offer identities

The retained URL ending tr5000pro-glowup-under-desk-treadmill now displays the Pro+ name and 5.0 HP copy, yet its offer is coded TR5000PRO-SC130. The current Pro+ page identifies TR5000BPRO-SC150. The older offer was marked sold out. The reused heading therefore cannot establish what treadmill generation and controller an older stocked package contains.

For an SC130-coded offer, ask for the actual treadmill and console labels, included connection hardware and matching manual. Do not treat the copied Pro+ description as proof that a predecessor was upgraded. The current assessment applies to the current identified Pro+ configuration; a differently coded offer needs its own hardware confirmation before its console and construction can be relied on.

The Pro+ suits a planned permanent position and a requirement for its nine-hour daily recommendation. The TR1200Pro has a lower load allowance and six-hour recommendation in a lighter base. The Desk Dash Pro adds a glass desk with an explicitly listed earlier TR5000 configuration when you need the furniture too.
